  1. American says:

They’re doing that to try to help people know that their shape CARE will not be changed. So many people have heard and believed inaccurate tales about what is happening.
People can keep the shape CARE they have now. What is being reformed is the way coverage to pay for shape care—shape insurance–is provided. Right now the insurance companies are making excessive profits by dropping people when they get sick or lose their job or need a procedure. Also they want to add a “broadcast scale” for those who don’t like what they have now or are not covered.

  2. GoYankee says:

because their focus groups have told them insurance is the concern of Americans. The Dems change their color often to match standard opinion. Obama’s success has been built on telling the people what they want to hear. It’s a Snake-Oil-Salesman tactic.

  3. ?????? says:

Because when they call it “shape care reform,” some pundits are distorting their words to make people reckon that they are trying to push a single-payer shape care system for everyone.
“Shape insurance reform” makes it less possible to do this, since it clearly states that they are trying to reform insurance, and not the care itself.

  4. Andrew K says:

The corporations that run our country will not permit more people to have access to shape care, nor for it to be more affordable. They don’t want people to question the structure of the system, or they would be seriously looking at the insurance companies for the mess we’re in. ?°)

  5. Angela Q says:

It is no longer about the quality of care, it is all about the MONEY and the POWER!
Obama’s Chicago crowd has made sure of that.
Now they will be busing Chicago style union thugs to town hall meetings to act as Obama’s Gestapo to keep concerned citizens from voicing opposition.

  6. Philip H says:

That’s because that is what it IS. It’s shape INSURANCE and shape INSURANCE cannot guarantee you shape CARE. The problems that everyone goes on and on about with our shape CARE system cannot be fixed with shape INSURANCE and nobody seems to know that.

  7. SinDelle Morte says:

It is about shape insurance reform now and has been all along. There is nothing incorrect with our shape care – insurance and paying for that care is the problem.
The name is the only difference. The problem is still the same.

  8. PJ says:

The cash that those of us pay doctors, hospitals, labs, etc for those who do not pay or cannot pay. We have to be charged more because doctors, hospitals, and labs have to get the cash from somewhere, they don’t treat for free.

  9. I love yanking your chain says:

The difference is that Obama isn’t trying to change anything but access to shape care. He desires everyone to be able to access decent shape care.

  10. Lampligh says:

insurance reform is fixing the insurance providers shape care reform is forced government shape care run like they do the post personnel.

  11. what ever says:

    Because they’re providing insurance.
We’re just charitable people insurance without guaranteeing they will really be able to see a doctor.

  12. pdooma says:

People tend to like their shape care, but despise their insurance. People are more willing to support a change to insurance than they are a change to their shape care.
