Like routines and security?
Do you have to be searched? and how far do they go when searching you?
Are you able to shower without people watching over you and making sure your not doing something wrong?
Im just curious because i read this story and when she got admitted she had to be strip searched and wasn’t even allowed to shower privately and cameras in her room. Is it really like this?

I live in Illinois. My governor Pat Quinn is cutting funding to mental health services. I want to write a letter to protest. . Can you help me brainstorm some good reasons why these cuts will cause more harm than good? I want the letter to be very persuasive. I really would like hard statistics. I think giving people proper treatment might save money in other areas such as unnecessary hospitalizations and incarceration, homelessness, etc. However I am looking for real statistics to back up my claims.
Is there any mental health programs for people in need of mental health help. Who do not have health insurance and not a lot of money?
I think the if children started mental yearly visits, just like yearly physicals and dental appts. this world would be less complicated and the stigma of mental health would be less of an issue. if anything people would be able to deal with problems sooner or might even be preventative in some cases.

Here are the facts. A good friend of mine has been divorced and has lived by himself since 1998. Since 1998 he has had the same ROUTINE EVERY Friday and Saturday Evening. Every Friday Evening he spends a couple of hours in the local laundermat, Every Saturday Evening he takes a bag full of bread and crackers walks down to the local park and feeds the ducks! Based on my DIRCT OBSERVATION of my friends behavior; Riddle me this: (1) What reasonable conclusions can be reached about the state of my friends SOCIAL LIFE? (2) The state of my friends MENTAL HEALTH? (3) Would it be INACCUARATE to say that my friend likes to wear clean underware and that he does not like to see ducks go hungry?
I had my first interview on Thursday for a Mental Health Rehabilitation program. It is an excellent opportunity and i don’t want to blow it. I was called that same day for a second interview on Monday ( they only interviewed candidates for 2 days). What are my chances of getting this job? Does a second interview mean i got the position?
My friends and I are in charge of organizing a mental health and eating disorders awareness week at our high school. We are trying to come up with ideas to get students interested and educated on the stuff we’re focusing on (EDs, self harm, suicide, self-esteem, etc.)
Do you have any suggestions? We are going to have things like petitions and a No-Diet Day, as well as information on resources, but I’m looking for interactive ways to get the school engaged. Thanks!
I find it so hard to fight my depression and I feel like I don’t know who I am or where I am going and I need to seek mental health, but I have 2 school age kids and I don’t want to be sent away from them-does anyone know what the routine would be if I went to a mental health facility?
