<p> Perfectly sculpted hard bodies need not apply &#8211; if you are cardiovascularly fit, can move well and have a body that looks absolutely nothing like a supermodel; Imperfect Fitness might have a job for you.</p>

<p>Launched in December of 2009, the Imperfect Fitness program allows would-be exercisers to sit down at their home computer, answer a few questions about their general health and fitness level and within minutes be offered a completely individualized, ever-changing set of original dance fitness routines which are displayed directly from their computer monitor.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The owner, Michelle Pearl, was a self-described “physically imperfect, formerly morbidly obese couch potato” and is now an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) certified group fitness instructor. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Her exercise assistants in the online fitness videos demonstrate the low or no-impact version of aerobic routines and the weight-free version of strength training routines.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Pearl says, “I’ve worked out almost every day for many, many years and I still have thighs that resemble tree trunks &#8211; and I know I’m not alone. There are just some of us that are never going to be wearing those size 2 jeans. That is why our motto is, ‘You don’t have to be perfect to be fit’, and I don’t want exercise assistants with perfect bodies either.”</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Imperfect Fitness videos are choreographed in colorful themed sets, such as “The Future of Fitness” or “Movie Moves”. The videos are then shot in Los Angeles in a green screen studio and then augmented in post-production with stunning high definition video backgrounds and superior quality motivating music. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>During the sign-up process for the Imperfect Fitness program clients answer a series of questions. Based on the answers provided, each individual is assigned 3 unique exercise sets; each of increasing intensity and duration. Depending on the client’s health concerns and fitness level, the client’s starting set might range in length from 20 – 55 minutes. Each exercise set consists of a warm-up, an aerobic exercise segment, strength training and stretching. New routines are then added every two weeks to keep clients motivated and interested.</p>

<p>Comparable to a health club membership, the .00 month-to-month subscription fee affords clients unlimited access to their individualized online exercise program.</p>

<p>Home exercise weight loss oriented programs are a cheap alternative for hiring a personal trainer to lose weight.  However, this is not necessarily the best approach towards exercise to shred extra pounds.  In fact, who said that exercise is the best method for losing weight to begin with?</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>You might think that the last sentence was somewhat controversial.  In order to clarify any misunderstanding let’s discover the root of unhealthy weight gain: poor metabolism.  NOTE: some of you may have a condition (such as hypothyroidism) that may require more than the methods I will list here, but for the most part, poor metabolism for the rest of us is caused by two factors (no, one of them is NOT genetics): poor activity and poor eating habits.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>To correct this type of weight gain you can either embark on a home exercise weight loss program, or change your diet, or both.  Now I know this may seem like I am contradicting myself from what I said earlier regarding the exercise component.  Of course I never said that exercise is ineffective. I implied that exercise is not the BEST method to lose weight.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The reason is simple, and is based on the amount of calories required for you to lose weight.  The exercise that you would have to do in order to accomplish this is VERY intense.  Not all folks can handle this. Went &#116;&#111; &#97; professional children&#8217;s high school,etc. When I &#103;&#111;&#116; &#105;&#110;&#116;&#111; college &#8212; due &#116;&#111; &#115;&#111;&#109;&#101; emotional trauma &#8211; I quit everything &#97;&#110;&#100; sucked &#105;&#110;&#116;&#111; depression. Into adulthood &#8212; gained weight steadily due &#116;&#111; bc pills &#97;&#110;&#100; antidepressants, etc.<br />
Abusive marriage &#8211; 10 years later. I am &#97;&#98;&#111;&#117;&#116; 5&#8217;5&#8243; &#97;&#110;&#100; 145. Not &#114;&#101;&#97;&#108;&#108;&#121; overwieght, &#109;&#121; BMI &#105;&#115; &#111;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; border &#111;&#102; getting bad &#97;&#110;&#100; I am &#97; curvy &#115;&#105;&#122;&#101; 10.</p>
<p>I &#119;&#111;&#117;&#108;&#100; &#108;&#105;&#107;&#101; &#116;&#111; loose 15 lbs &#97;&#110;&#100; convert &#105;&#110;&#116;&#111; muscle. That &#119;&#111;&#117;&#108;&#100; &#98;&#101; &#109;&#121; dream&#8230;..</p>
<p>reality &#8212;-I am &#103;&#111;&#105;&#110;&#103; &#116;&#111; &#97; specialist &#98;&#101;&#99;&#97;&#117;&#115;&#101; &#116;&#104;&#101;&#121; &#116;&#104;&#105;&#110;&#107; I am &#105;&#110; adrenal exhaustion. I am currently overhauling &#109;&#121; diet &#8212; taking supplements, doing &#109;&#121; best. Feeling &#103;&#111;&#111;&#100; emotionally &#8211; &#98;&#117;&#116; due &#116;&#111; &#116;&#104;&#101; health issues &#8212; explains why everytime I &#104;&#97;&#118;&#101; tried &#116;&#111; start &#97;&#110; exercise routine &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; past &#102;&#101;&#119; years &#8212; &#105;&#116; &#114;&#101;&#115;&#117;&#108;&#116;&#115; &#105;&#110; &#109;&#101; getting sick within &#97; month.<br />
I am NOT lazy, &#106;&#117;&#115;&#116; exhausted. seriously &#8211; exhausted. </p>
<p> I don&#8217;t &#107;&#110;&#111;&#119; &#104;&#111;&#119; &#116;&#111; fit exercise &#105;&#110;&#116;&#111; &#109;&#121; life. Even &#105;&#102; I walk &#116;&#111; work &#97; &#102;&#101;&#119; times &#97; week (1.5) miles, I &#101;&#110;&#100; &#117;&#112; exhausted. Am I &#106;&#117;&#115;&#116; doomed &#116;&#111; &#98;&#101; fat now?<br />
I can&#8217;t feel &#103;&#111;&#111;&#100; &#97;&#98;&#111;&#117;&#116; myself &#97;&#116; &#116;&#104;&#105;&#115; size. I try &#115;&#111; &#104;&#97;&#114;&#100; &#8212; &#98;&#117;&#116; I feel &#108;&#105;&#107;&#101; &#97; fat *ss. My belly &#105;&#115; getting big.
