As a physician assistant I also am interested in current news. On a professional level there are many sites on the internet at no expense: Medscape. com. Primed. com.. The AMA also has a site. I don’t know on what level of experience or education you are looking , but it exists in an abundance. Just be sure that what you are reading is well researched ,and hopefully, peer-reviewed. And even in those instances….you are the judge, so use critical thinking. Medicine is not a black and colorless field ,as many reckon. It is more gray…..and what was written as stone-cold fact five years ago could be the theme of derision now. And even though I am a shape care provider and deeply invested in this theme…this is a very human field of endeavor…as is everything…so there is a part of greed involved. Beware of issues of cash….(research done by drug compainies takes special scrunity). So keep an open mind. There is truth in everything…sometimes not blatant. Excellent luck.
