    Huge Deal
Not sure what the huge deal is. Take Suicide and mix in a small Wolf Eyes and Presto! noise rock in a can. This is really nothing special, I promise.

This is the untried composition I like and crave. Each track presents you with something new and ear-lovingly fascinating. Drums are the essential element in this album and the most noticeable from track to track. Their unique style, as quoted from their page on wikipedia, is described as “cunningly crafted noise and raw synth, haunting monotone vocals, and drum skills that are borderline insane”. Vocals play a vague roll throughout the album and combined with the spastic, persistent drumming make a suspicion of an ritual chant gone hard noise rock. I found parts of the album to be slightly unlistenable upon first take note but after a couple more they grew appreciatively and fit nicely in with the composition. Shape pushes the boundaries of conventional composition and extends pauses to fantastic lengths, at times blurring the line between tracks. The album is woven seamlessly to give it the suspicion of one long track and flows perfectly for listening all the way through or song by song depending on the mood.

If you’re looking for something original, loud, and slightly insane, this album is for you.

Each song is a jumbled up mix of untried psychdelic noise rock.
personally crimewave is my pet song.and there something really romantic about the song “Perfect Skin”.If you delight in bands like animal collective, psychic Ills then you’ll like Shape.

I first saw this band in a warehouse space near the Crenshaw district in LA. One of the loudest and most intense performances that I have seen in ages. I had no clue how they were going to pull this off on a record, but they managed to and it sounds fantastic. Very ahead of it’s time.
